Mission
Connection desires to see the creation of hundreds of Home Fellowships
and Meeting Centers in Romania where Jesus Christ is presented in culturally-relevant
ways. These biblically functioning fellowships will be new church plants.
They will be the place where worship, preaching, teaching, discipleship,
training, and other activities that make up the church, will be presented
in non-traditional, but relevant ways. We're forming strategic partnerships
with American churches and ministries so that they can participate in
church planting and foster healthy and growing new churches.
Poverty
beyond description, inadequate medical care, declining currency, and thousands
of abandoned children all contribute to a sense of hopelessness in Romania.
The suffering, the hurting and the brokenhearted abound. Mission Connection
is committed to providing food, resources and medical help to this needy
country. Our purpose is to demonstrate compassion to those who suffer
by connecting the resources of organizations and individuals with those
who are in need.
The
effective training of nationals is vital to reaping a great harvest in
Eastern Europe. The primary goal of our conferences, mentoring programs
and discipleship training events is to equip and empower pastors, teachers,
church planters, leaders and evangelists to be the vanguard for helping
Romania reach its redemptive potential. These new leaders will be trained
to take the gospel beyond Romania's borders into Eastern Europe. Mission
Connection wants to partner with leaders around the world who want to
encourage, equip and energize these emerging leaders to be effective and
fruitful in their ministries.
Mission
Connection serves as a connecting "interlink" between a wide variety of
churches, ministries and missions organizations. We connect these groups
and individuals with short-term missions opportunities and long-term missions
placement in Romania. Each year we coordinate mission trips for medical
teams, church groups and pastoral teams utilizing the strengths, passions
and gifts of each to help them accomplish their missions goals. We especially
desire to partner with churches to help them become more effective and strategic
in their missions programs.
