Encouraging the establishment of new and relevant ministries among Romanian youth

 · 80% of Christians accepted Christ before they were 15 years
   old.
 · 90% before they were 21.
 · 97% become believers before they turn 30.

Therefore we must utilize our resources and focus our energy on planting churches that effectively reach the youth.

Gather with 150 other Romanian leaders to be encouraged, equipped and energized to fulfill the
Great Commission in Romania!

"Over the past two or three years I have been hearing about sparks of Revival breaking out here and there across the country of Romania and it is happening among young people. It is not surprising that God has chosen the youth. These young people are 12 years removed from communism and all of the promises they had been given about a better way of life, have not materialized. It was the youth of Romania that led the revolution against communism and brought this evil force to its knees and now the new generation of young people will bring a spiritual revival to this country!"

-Mission Connection Founder, Paul Grimes

God is using young people like this Romanian band, "Born Again," to change hearts and lives.

Romania is filled with young people who possess great gifts in ministry. There are those with abilities in multimedia and drama, others with musical talents, and still others with evangelistic gifts. Unfortunately, these ministry gifts are, largely undeveloped, isolated and not being collectively utilized for a common goal -The Great Commission.

Denominations have served a necessary purpose for the church throughout the years. But, although denominations have been beneficial and made much progress, they have sometimes created barriers among believers. Individuals with ministry gifts have tended to use their gifts solely within the confines of their local church or denomination, much to the detriment of the body as a whole. The body of Christ desperately needs these gifts to be shared throughout the whole body. There needs to be a way to network these individuals so they can come together and share their visions and ministry gifts.

OUR VISION
To assist in the establishment of a network where members would become interdependently available to the rest of the body of Christ and work together regardless of their denominational background. Members network together for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission to not only Romania, but to all of those nations surrounding its borders.

What the NYN is NOT:
NYN is not a denomination. It does not tell individuals how to run their ministries or use their gifts. It does not seek to take people from their organization or denomination to form another. It is not a sponsorship program where people can find financial support for their ministry. It is not seeking to become an independent part of the Body of Christ, but rather seeking to create interdependence between existing ministries.

What the NYN IS:
NYN is an interdenominational organism that is set up for the purpose of informing and joining Christian youth to have greater ministry impact in their local area through interdependent assistance of each other. Participation is entirely voluntary and dependent on whomever is available to help others when needs arise. NYN is basically a relational intersection where people meet together to share their ministry resources for the benefit of God's kingdom. The main purpose is to encourage interdependence among Christians and encourage the establishment of new and relevant ministries among the Romanian youth.

OUR GOALS

  • To develop mutually beneficial relationships between existing individuals and ministries

  • To equip and release potential new workers into the body of Christ

  • To establish more effective and relevant ministries throughout the nation of Romania

  • To Provide a central information point where those who need help to fulfill the Great Commission may be connected with those who can help

  • To hold national youth conferences where interdependence is promoted regardless of denominational background

  • To provide and create resources and training materials to help people and ministries reach new levels of excellency in ministry

The National Youth Network will serve as a vehicle to bring youth leaders from the entire country together for concerted outreach efforts, leadership conferences, church planting, information dissemination, and generally networking different kinds of ministries together in the Great Commission. The most common concern we heard from the young Romanian leaders is that they feel disconnected, and isolated from other believers. The National Youth Network will meet that need!
